About me
- Where I live I live just outside york city centre and I'm not far from other shops, cinema and places to eat. It's not that far to Leeds, Harrogate etc.
- Where are you originally from? I am originally from just outside Newcastle, however you can't tell by the accent as I moved to York years ago.
- Do you want to stay there? Would love to get out and leave York behind.(wouldn't mind coming back to visit family) Have been here for many years and would like to experience living and working somewhere new. I am not fussy about where.
- What is your occupation? I am a nursery assistant and am (hopefully) in the next couple of months qualify as a nursery nurse. The job of looking after children is not as easy or straight forward as people would believe.
- What are your future plans? My life is no where near complete, there are a lot of things I would like to do in life but a few of those things i would like to do with the right person to share them with.
- Your perfect partner He has to know his own mind, be kind and thoughtful and not let others walk all over them, be spontanious, funny - he has to make me laugh and just accept me for who i am and not try to completely change me.
Stuff I like
- What are you interests/hobbies? I really enjoy walking, as in country walks, in the summer I like cycling and just generally being outdoors in the summer. I would like to try a couple of winter sports skiing, snow boarding and would like to do some parachuting. I enjoy a nice swim and the odd game of badminton.
- Music I love indie music killers, kaiser chiefs, arctic monkeys, the view, the feeling, razorlight, embrace, foo fighters, muse, but I sometimes like a bit of dance, bit of cheesy old stuff, classical, easy listening, ben folds five, chillis. I could go on. I like to see bands live, have only seen a few: razorlight, embrace x2 would love to go to glastonbury tho!
- Your fav books/authors I enjoy reading typical girly books by marian keyes, sophie kinsella etc. I like to read a lot esp when I go on holiday. It wouldn't bother me if my partner read or not.
- What sort of movies do you like? I'm not really into fighting films unless they have a good story line. I like horror films, chick films, comodies, war films. I'll usually watch anything once.
- Types of people you like? I enjoy being around people who like to have a chat, make me laugh and people who like and accept the other for exactly who they are. I'm not over keen on people that only like talikng about themselves tho. I like open minded people.
- What kind of people do you find attractive? I beleive there has to be something you are attracted to about the other person. I don't base it all on looks as personality shines over looks but sometimes you don't realise how much you are attracted to someone and then it will just hit you.
- Food I'm not very good at cooking, don't have a great interest in it. I'm ok cooking things for myself but if i have to cook for others it usually ends in disaster. I like english, chinese, mexican. Not always that adventerous with food as I maybe should be. I do enjoy eating out in many places.
- Drinks I like to enjoy a drink at the weekend but not during the week (can't cope with loud children and a bit of a hangover) but I won't feel pressurised into drinking, if i go out and don't feel like drinking I won't. I won't do it just because everyone else is and i'd never expect anyone else not to drink just because I don't feel like it.
- Holidays I've been to greece many times, been to germany, france, belgium, denmark. Am hoping to go to new york this year but would quite like to see more of the uk. Only just visited the lake district last year for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it. I would like to visit south africa, canada and iceland.
- Pets I like dogs and nice cats. I currently have two glodfish.

My attitude
- Jobs&Working At the moment my job is just money when i qualify i want to look for a job i can move up in and feel passionate about. You spend so many hours of your life working you have to get something of job satisfaction out of it!
- Money I'd have friends over money but only the good friends that stand by you when times are tough. Money isn't the be all and end all but everything revolves around it so of course money always hepls.
