I'd really like to make some new friends, someone who doesn't have to share all the same likes but that i can get on with really well and share some laughs and good times. Opinions and a mind for debate and conversation are important, can't be doing with someone that has nothing to say! Looks and stlye arn't my first priority, but i do appreciate it. I'm not looking for anything specific, it would be nice to get on really well with someone though...

if i ruled the world i would vote for someone else. i have lots of socks and several hats. sometimes i eat with spoons, depends on whether im having soup or not. i am interested in collecting fragments of violins damaged by mice attack. mice are very partial to violins because violins are made from old barrels used to store cheese during the boer war. i dislike fridge magnets intensely and once declared war on east germany as a result of a nasty incident with a fridge magnet driven by a east german barber. however after a while i relented allowed the east germans to live in peace as long as they agreed to keep all their fridge magnets in caskets on top of church spires. i think it was a considerate gesture on my part....

I've joined out of interest really. I've been widowed for almost 8 years now, so I thought I'd give this meeting on line thing a bash; don't know what I'm expecting really, but it will be nice to make some contacts so I can find out. I like cycling in summer and walking all year round. I enjoy socialising, both in a group and a one to one situation. I read a lot and enjoy both the theatre and the cinema. Whilst I don't think that looks are the most important thing, I'd be lying if I didn't admit that it was a factor, so at the risk of sounding shallow, somebody who was at least in shape would be good. If you'd like to know more, then drop me a line. I'll reply to all mail as it would be bad manners not to.

Hey, Well not much to say here. Believe it or not I’m rubbish at writing these things.
So, I’m from a city called Sheffield in South Yorkshire, Although hopefully in the not so distant future ill be moving to Leeds, Manchester or London!
I work extremely hard for a living as well as play hard. I work as a mortgage advisor for a bank in Sheffield.
In my free time I love to play and watch all kinds of sports the usual stuff. I would like to add I am a bit of a gym freak too!
