About me
- Where I liveI live on the Outskirts of Leeds, I moved here in March 2006.
- Where are you originally from?I'm originally from East Yorkshire.. Lived there for 30 Years, before sorting of having a nomadic existance for the last twelve years, living in the suburbs of Sheffield and Leeds.
- Do you want to stay there?Not Necessarilly.. It really depends on the job.. Which sounds a bit crap, however it's not my idea of fun travelling miles and miles to jobs.. I did that for 7 years, and it's not fun.
- What is your occupation?I work as a Sound Designer.. I produce Radio commercials.
- What have you done so far?Originally on leaving school, I wanted to work in Radio, but got told the usual propaganda from Careers teachers of "Go and get a proper job boy"... So Originally worked in a TV and Video Store.. Also worked as a Lab Assistant, at a Travel & Tour Operator, and as a Logistics Assistant.
- What are your future plans?Plans for the future.. Hopefully to meet a great friend which would become a partner for life.. Work wise, more than satisfied in what I have done, however I don't want to rest on my laurels (or my hardys).. There's plenty of more bits to do, but the industry / media is exciting, and it's diversifing quite a lot, so you can't afford to stand still I feel.
- Your perfect partnerMy Perfect Partner... Ideally, I would like my perfect partner to have a good sense of humour, someone who's smile and sheer prescence would illuminate the room like the coast around Whitby Lighthouse. The first thing I tend to look at is a lady's smile.. Someone who enjoys having fun, who is spontanious, generally enjoys life.. Trust and Honesty is very important to me, also I would like to have someone who is not a jealous type.. I feel that I live and treat people fairly.. and would expect the same in return.. I have one really really REALLY big stipulation.. My partner does not Smoke..
Stuff I like
- What are you interests/hobbies?I like the Movies, enjoy going to the theatre, nothing too deep (the last thing I went to see was Mamma Mia, which was quite tan-fastic). I love Sport - Football, Cricket, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Ice Hockey - I play Cricket during the summer months but not 5 nights a week ! I like some TV, tend to watch things like Sport, HIGNFY, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Friday Night Project, Becker, Frasier, Two and a Half Men, Futurama, Soccer AM.. I have also got into things like Trial & Prejudice, and stuff like that.. Thank heavens for Sky+.. This bit makes me look like I've got square eyes. I enjoy eating out, I enjoy visiting my family & friends, they are both very important to me.
- MusicI have a wide range of musical tastes (see earlier on).. Love things from the 40's through to the Noughties.. As long as it's not rap !
- Your fav tv seriesHmmmmmmmm - It really depends on what mood I'm in.. TV Series - Would have to be a comedy, Father Ted, Frasier, the other thing which might be strange is Life on Mars.. I keep missing this.. Thank heavens they've brought out both series on DVD..
- Your fav books/authorsNot really read books.. I really must do.. got bought for me at Christmas the thoughts of Karl Pilkington.. He's the producer on Ricky Gervais Radio Programmes.. His producer is funnier than Ricky Gervais ! - They ought to give him his own programme.
- What sort of movies do you like?I'm a wuss with movies, so not really into sci-fi or horror.. Don't mind Comedy or Chick Flicks.. Last films I've seen were Casino Royale and Hot Fuzz..
- Types of people you like?I like Warm Hearted, fun people.. Not too loud generally.
- What kind of people do you find attractive? Can't really say - I like Female Company..
- FoodI enjoy cooking, although I'm not brilliant at it, I find it quite theraputic.. If I ever go to a restaurant, I love Chinese, Indian, Italian, Thai Food, it's probably easier saying what I don't like.. I feel that French food is over-rated. I don't like food served with Heads left on (Fish, Pet Iguana).. I also don't like food on the bone..
- DrinksI'm not one for just going out for the sake of going out. Therefore drinking is not really important to me. If I do go out generally, I'll maybe have one of two bottles of beer, and that will be sufficient. Drink some White Wine, not Red.. Drinking wise, for me to have a skinful, is usually if I've been invited to a celebration, or on holiday.
- HolidaysI've got a few places to visit around the British Isles.. West Coast of Scotland and Ireland is somewhere where I haven't visited yet. In recent years, my holidays have been around the UK apart from one break in the USA - However in the near future, I would love to visit Canada, Australia & New Zealand

- Fav PlaceIf we are talking about this country, I love the South West, around Dorset, Devon & Cornwall, I also love the North Yorkshire Moors, and places like Whitby and around there. With regards to Abroad, I like Florida, California, South of Sweden, Italy. I've loads more places that I'd love to go to.
My attitude
- Family lifeI would love to get married eventually, it would be nice to have children, but it will depend on the person who I meet..
- Jobs&WorkingI'm quite fortunate that my hobby became my job.. Things could be a lot worse.. I'm fairly career oriented, purely as if you don't have any goals to achieve, then I may as well go work in McDonalds ! (and I'm not trying to offend people who work in these places.. figure of speech sort of thing)..
- MoneyMoney is important to me, but it's not the priority.. purely in the sense of without it, you are restricted in what you can do.. If I met the perfect partner, and we didn't have two fivers to wipe our backside with, but I was deliriously happy, I'd take that..
- PoliticsI keep an eye on it, but a lot of the time, I feel that the majority of politicians are a bunch of scum sucking pondlife.. It's maybe a tad harsh, but there's not one political party who I feel you can trust in this country..
