Cleorose
About me
I'm bisexual but have had bad luck in love - I tend to fall for straight women and unpleasant men. After bad experiences with boyfriends I'm mainly looking for a girl. Under a cynical exterior I'm secretly romantic, and would love a long term relationship with a girl who understands me.

About me
- Where I liveI mostly live in Yeadon, sharing a house with some other girls at my beauty college. At the weekends I usually go back to stay with my parents in Halifax.
- Where are you originally from?I was born in Sussex, we moved up to Yorkshire when I was 11. It's a lot flatter down there, and it's a lot less rainy! But people aren't as friendly, and it's more expensive.
- Do you want to stay there?I haven't really thought about it too much. I like the idea of living in France, but (despite studying the language all through school) I'm not very good at speaking French. I'll probably always stay in England, to keep in touch with family and friends. I might move south again one day though, where it's warmer.
- What is your occupation?I'm at Beauty College, but only for a few more months. After that I'm planning to get a job in a salon, and hopefully eventually run my own.
- What have you done so far?I haven't really ever had a job, I got asked back to the office where I did work experience one summer for a few weeks, but other than that I've always chosen to concentrate on my school and college work. In school, I've done my GCSEs, my AS Levels and then I dropped out and went to beauty school. My English teachers were annoyed, and my Sociology teacher is still in denial. I don't see it as a failure though - I'm doing something I love.
- What are your future plans?I want a job where I'm earning enough money to buy pretty things! I'm a terrible shopaholic. If I could earn enough money to buy designer shoes every once in a while I'd be happy - but I'd settle for monthly Primark binges. I want to own my own house. Other than that, I'm not that big on plans. I like to go wherever my impulsive decisions take me.
- Your perfect partnerI'd prefer a girl - I'm bisexual but have had some bad experiences with men and am not too keen to go that way again. I need someone who likes to talk and has lots to talk about - I'm quite a chatty person once you get me to open up. I'm definitely looking for long term commitment, I'm happy to take things slowly but I wouldn't want to be with someone who was just playing the field. Other than that, I'm not picky. I go by personality much more than looks, I suppose both matter to an extent but I'd much rather be with someone plain with a wonderful personality than a beautiful bitch. I know enough of them already!
Stuff I like
- What are you interests/hobbies?I'm a bit of a geek. I love my computer to bits, I spend a lot of my free time on the internet. I also occasionally horse ride, and go on skiing holidays once a year with my parents. This year we took my best friend as well, which was fun. I'm also the only girl in the family to enjoy paintballing - although I don't go as often as I'd like.
- MusicOh god, the music question. Really, I'll listen to just about anything. If you put some music on, 9 times out of 10 I'll like it. But when left to choose the music myself... I like pop. I love Britney Spears, Hillary Duff, Kylie Minogue, Girls Aloud, Rhianna... the list goes on. However, I also like Amy Winehouse, Adele, Matchbox Twenty, U2, Oasis... my music tastes are pretty varied. They're also what keeps me single. I'm yet to find anyone who can stand much of what I listen to :P
- Your fav tv seriesBuffy the Vampire Slayer is love. Love, love love. And, to feed the addiction, Angel isn't at all bad. I also love reality TV like Big Brother, X Factor, Britain's Got Talent. And Doctor Who is always good too.
- Your fav books/authorsI like to read, though not as often as I used to. Stephen King is the best - I love to be scared. Dean Koontz will do when I run out of Stephen King, but he's always second best. I also enjoy books by Margaret Atwood, Eoin Colfer, Anthony Horowitz, J.K Rowling and Darren Shan.
- What sort of movies do you like?I like movies. Just, in general. I watch movies a lot with my college housemates. My favourite movies are The Matrix, Fight Club, Children of Men, Kill Bill, Hairspray, Phantom of the Opera, Hard Candy and The Ring. I will watch any horror movie, they're my favourites.
- Types of people you like? Most people have something likable to them. I've only ever met one person without a single good personality trait. I get on best with slightly older (and more mature) people of both sexes. Girls my age are often bitchy, and the boys are often idiots. There's exceptions, but I don't meet them that often.
- What kind of people do you find attractive? I wouldn't say that the outer appearance means nothing to me, but it's not the most important at all. The 2 best relationships I've been in so far were with people I met over the internet, and only saw very small, crappy pictures of before meeting them in person. I like people who are chatty, funny and at least a little bit intelligent. I suppose if I was designing my perfect partner, I'd go for a slim girl or skinny guy, with good skin and good personal hygiene (had enough of smelly men, anyone?). I definitely prefer girls who wear makeup to those who don't.
- FoodPre-Diet, it was all about pizza, doughnuts and chocolate. Now it's more about bacon, low calorie jelly pots and the occasional penguin bar. Oh, and Hummus and Philadelphia Extra Light are lifesavers. I tend to panic a bit about eating at restaurants or cafes, because the food doesn't come with convenient calorie labels.
- DrinksI used to drink only occasionally, at parties. Straight Vodka, nothing else would do. Now, I'd rather use those extra calories to eat something :P But at special occasions, I may have a couple of shots.
- HolidaysMy parents take me skiing every year. We've been to Germany, Switzerland and France. I've also been skiing in Austria on a school trip. In the summer I like to go to hot places. I've been on family holidays to Tenerife and Spain, but my parents usually prefer to stay in the country. Now I'm gradually moving out, I'll definitely start holidaying abroad as often as I can afford.
- PetsI have 3 goats (Loki, Dodo and Kiwi), and my parents have dogs which I love to bits. I also have fish, but they're not all that exciting. In the future, when I move out properly after college, I'd like to get rats or hamsters or something else small and fluffy.
- Fav thingI have a pretty close relationship with my computer :P But my tiny pink iPod Nano goes almost everywhere with me.
- Fav PlaceHmm, possibly my bed. For all my hard work at the gym, I'm secretly lazy. Sleeping is good.
- What's your favourite radio station ?I don't really listen to the radio. My parents listen to a load of boring crap and I guess I've been put off a bit by that.
- What's your favourite tv station ?I couldn't pick one! Doctor who is on BBC1, and Britain's Got Talent is on ITV1! Life is hard XD
- What's your favourite drink?Flavoured water is good. I like Perfectly Clear Peach and Mandarin. Alcoholic drink would be vodka (Smirnoff Triple Distilled).
- What's your favourite food?I wish I could eat more muffins. Blueberry muffins are the foods of the (non-existent muffin loving) gods. Especially covered in warm peanut butter :)
- What are your favourite activities?Watching movies, browsing the internet, going to the cinema and hanging out with friends. As I said, a bit of a lazy person. Not much of a one for sports (apart from skiing once a year and paintballing occasionally). Oh, and shopping is good when I'm not broke.
My attitude
- Family lifeI'd like to get married/civil partnership one day, preferably before I'm too old and boring :P I'm not a traditional person though, I'd never wear a floor length white wedding dress. Ick! I don't want children either, not the give-you-stretch-marks kind. The adopted kind might be nice, when I'm MUCH older.
- Jobs&WorkingI don't have a job just now, but I can't wait! I love the skills I've learned at college and can't wait to start using them to help people (yes, beauty therapy helps people. Just cos I'm not a doctor doesn't mean I'm not doing good :P) and make money. Free time is more important though. I'm very relaxed about getting college work done, I usually do it in 20mins the night before. I'm no workaholic.
- MoneyMoney's important - at least, enough money to be able to afford the things you need without worrying. But I don't care about being rich. Of course, I fantasize about having millions of pounds but it's not something I need. As long as I can go shopping every so often, it's all good.
- PoliticsThere isn't a section on religion, so I'll put this here. I'm an atheist. A fairly extreme one. I don't like religion, I think it's the biggest problem with the world today. I don't care if you believe in god, but I will never date someone whose religious opinions are a part of their day to day life. I grew up with a religious family and I don't want any more of that, plzkthnx.
